1. Who We Are
Infinite Creation is a media education brand providing tutorials, tools, and resources for podcast producers, video creators, and audio engineers. We operate at infinitecreation.io. For any privacy-related enquiries, contact us at [email protected].
2. Data We Collect
We collect only what is necessary to operate this site:
- Newsletter subscriptions: If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address and the date of signup. This is stored securely by Netlify (our form processing provider). You provide this voluntarily and must give explicit consent at the point of submission.
- Browser data via third-party services: This site loads fonts from Google Fonts (Google LLC), which results in your IP address and browser information being sent to Google's servers. We do not receive or store this data.
- No tracking cookies: We do not use advertising cookies, analytics tracking, or any behavioural profiling tools.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
We process your personal data under the following legal bases:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): Newsletter subscriptions require explicit opt-in consent via a checkbox. You may withdraw this consent at any time.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): Loading Google Fonts to render the site as designed.
4. How We Use Your Data
- Your email address is used solely to send you Infinite Creation newsletters — new tutorials, tool updates, and educational content.
- We will never sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
- We will not use your email for purposes other than those you consented to at signup.
5. Third-Party Services
- Netlify (Netlify, Inc.): Hosts this website and processes form submissions. Netlify may store form data on servers in the United States. Netlify is compliant with applicable data protection laws. Netlify Privacy Policy →
- Google Fonts (Google LLC): Provides web fonts. When the page loads, your browser makes a request to Google's servers. Google Privacy Policy →
6. Data Retention
Newsletter subscriber data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion. You can request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].
7. Your Rights Under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Erase your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to processing
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
8. Unsubscribing
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You can also email [email protected] to be removed from our list immediately.
9. Cookies
We use one item of local browser storage:
- ic_gdpr_v1 (localStorage): Stores your cookie consent preference (accepted or declined). This is a strictly necessary functional item and is not a tracking cookie. It expires when you clear your browser storage.
No third-party advertising or analytics cookies are set by this site.
10. Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. We will not retroactively reduce your rights under this policy without explicit notice.
12. Contact & Complaints
For any privacy concerns, email [email protected]. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have not resolved your concern, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (e.g., the ICO in the UK at ico.org.uk).
